Introduction

This initiative is all about improving communication within the aquaculture sector and encouraging cooperation and collaboration. The overall objective is to enhance companies' knowledge and capabilities so that they are better able to innovate and adopt new technologies.

The Knowledge Database is our searchable repository for sharing information that will be useful for innovation and technology transfer in European aquaculture. Anyone can contribute to this project, or post comments on information already in the database.

The discussion area can be used for raising more active and topical discussions about issues concerning innovation and technology transfer in European aquaculture. You may post a message to pass on information about new support initiatives, regulations and research findings, or to ask technical, market or regulatory questions or suggest research needs for instance. Discussion in this section will help to guide priorities for development of the knowledge database.
